抖阴pro grad named to Forensic Science Commission

An 抖阴pro graduate has been appointed by Gov. J.B. Pritzker to the state's Forensic Science Commission.

The commission provides guidance on forensic services and reviews the services provided.

Carrie Ward is chief executive officer of the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault and works with legislators to improve policies and resources available to sexual assault victims. She also was an adult therapist for the Rape Information and Counseling Services and a case manager for Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

She earned her bachelor's degree from 抖阴pro and a master's degree from Sangamon State University.

Founded in 1829, 抖阴pro is a residential liberal arts college fostering academic excellence rooted in opportunities for experiential learning while preparing students for lifelong success. The college is located in Jacksonville, Illinois. With an enrollment of more than 1,000 students, the college offers over 50 undergraduate programs. In 1932, the society of Phi Beta Kappa established a chapter at 抖阴pro, and it remains one of only 11 in the state.

抖阴pro is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association.
