Life-defining experiences launch students toward success.
- Since the launch of ¶¶Òõpro, nearly 3,000 students have had hands-on learning experiences through internships, research, community engagement, study abroad and the BreakAway program thanks to the $5.2 million raised for experiential learning.
- More than 400 students have had global experiences through study abroad or BreakAways since 2013. All IC students have access to $1,000 toward a BreakAway trip.
- $7.3 million was raised for faculty support during the Campaign and nearly 600 students participated in research experiences with the guidance of faculty mentors.
- Thanks to generous donors, 100% of IC graduates have at least one experiential learning experience and the majority have had two or more.
“Betsy and I chose to focus our Campaign gift to fund experiential learning opportunities for IC students with the goal that we could help change students’ lives — that these students would be better prepared to face the world they were entering post-graduation and that these students could help make this world a better place.
Over the years, these students have sent us cards, reports and pictures — expressing a genuine excitement as they describe their experiences and opportunities. Based on these reports, their experiences have been both eye-opening and truly life-changing.
Betsy and I are glad that we were able to participate in the Campaign and that we are helping to inspire achievement — and we are glad that you participated too. Thank you.â€
