When will I get my housing assignment and roommate?

Housing assignments will be available in early July. Students are paired with
roommates and added to rooms in specific halls you will receive your housing assignment and roommate information to your IC email.

Is there a list of things to bring for my residence hall room?

We put together a list of things to bring and what is not allowed in the residence halls. Check out our 2024 Move-in Guide.  

What does the residence hall room include?

All rooms come with two full sets of furniture; bed frame, twin xl mattress, dresser, closet or wardrobe, desk, and desk chair.

What size are the beds?

All beds in the residence halls are size Twin XL.

Are all residence hall air conditioned?

All residence halls have air conditioning either through units in the rooms or through central air conditioning. 

Do I need to bring quarters for laundry? How does laundry work in the halls?

Laundry is free in all residence halls, no need to have quarters or to scan a
card to do your laundry.

How will I have access to my residence hall and my room?

You will receive your IC ID card and your room key when you check-in on your move-in day. 

What kinds of microwaves can we bring to campus? 

You can bring microwaves with 700 watts or less.

What size refrigerator can I bring? 

You can bring a refrigerator 4 cubic feet or less.
