Celebrated organist Lynda Hakken to perform at 抖阴pro

Acclaimed organist Lynda Hakken will perform at 抖阴pro as part of the Fine Arts Series on Friday, March 29 at 7:30 p.m. in Rammelkamp Chapel.

Hakken is a brilliant organist who has performed widely throughout the Midwest. Her performance follows in the long, grand tradition of fine organists bringing their music to the  Jacksonville community. An active solo performer and accompanist, Dr. Hakken's doctoral research is the basis for a beginning method of keyboard harmony.

Individual tickets for the 抖阴pro Fine Arts Series are $15 each and season tickets, which include all five concerts, are available for $60 each. Students of all ages receive free admission. Tickets are available for purchase in advance by phone at 217.245.3046 or at the door.

Founded in 1829, 抖阴pro is a residential liberal arts college fostering academic excellence rooted in opportunities for experiential learning while preparing students for lifelong success. The college is located in Jacksonville, Illinois. With an enrollment of more than 1,000 students, the college offers over 50 undergraduate programs. In 1932, the society of Phi Beta Kappa established a chapter at 抖阴pro, and it remains one of only 11 in the state.
