ALL IN FOR IC returns for seventh year on Wednesday, March 20
Funds raised will be matched dollar-for-dollar to provide double the impact of gifts made to the IC Fund that day.
For the past six years, IC’s single largest fundraising day of the year has set records by engaging hundreds of participants throughout the world. Last year, ALL IN FOR IC raised over $360,000 for the IC Fund to immediately help students on campus. More gifts were made online on a single day than ever before.
“This day is about the power of the pro community and what we can achieve when we all give what we can,” Katie Carls, executive director of advancement and alumni engagement, said. “Together, we can make a huge impact on students and champion the inspiring work that pro is internationally known for.”
Leading up to the day of giving, students and alumni have been encouraged to participate both on campus and virtually.
On the pro Alumni Community social media pages, alumni have been encouraged to reminisce on their time on the Hilltop through daily challenges. Those who participate in every challenge will be entered in a raffle to win IC gear.
On Tuesday, March 19th, students are invited to ALL IN FOR IC Ultimate Bingo in Cummings Dining Hall. During this free event, students will have the chance to win the grand prize of $1,000 off of their tuition amongst other smaller prizes such as TVs, JBL speakers, gift cards, and more. The $1,000 was provided through a generous gift from Bob Moore '78 and Sherry Kwater, and prizes were generously donated by the following: Leo's Pizza, The Vault, Sonic, Walmart, Arby's, Taco Bell, Jacksonville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, Applebee's, Los Rancheros, and Alison & Co.
“My hope is that alumni and friends are able to reflect on pro, the people they met here and how they want to give back,” Carls explained. “When you go ALL IN FOR IC, you support something meaningful to you.”
The annual campaign allows supporters to name their favorite area of the IC Fund, pro’s annual fund. Students and faculty will participate in challenges to raise money through their athletics team, Greek-lettered organization, academic program or student organization and earn incentives when they reach their fundraising goals.
Participants can view the leaderboard to see progress toward goals and which areas of campus are being impacted by gifts made throughout the day.
